Semester is finally over and it’s time to go home. We hope you had an amazing stay!
The overwhelming majority of our guests get their full deposit returned within a week (legal deadline is 30 days). When you are checking out, please keep in mind these recommendations to avoid unnecessary penalties. Our goal is to always return full deposits, so please help us help you. =)
- If you’ve used the kitchen, clean up before departing. (Penalty: up to 30€)
- Remove all items from your fridge, but do NOT unplug it. Leave it empty, closed, and connected to the power outlet. (Penalty: up to 30€)
- All your furniture, including your chair, lamp, and heater should be inside your room. (Penalty: cost of missing items)
- There’s no need to be concerned about any deeper cleaning, but no bags, personal items, or trash should be left behind. All your belongings should be removed from the room. (Penalty for trash left behind: up to 20€)
- The room should be locked or anyone can enter an open room after you’ve left. (Penalty: you are still responsible for any damages or missing items)
- Your keys should be delivered to the property manager or dropped in the safe on the ground floor (pictured bellow). (Penalty: up to 15€ + cost of missing keys)

- If possible, wash and fold your sheets/towels (except those used for the last night).
- Deposit is usually returned by bank transfer. Legal deadline is one month, but we typically transfer it in one to two weeks. (If you’ve paid rent in cash and wish to receive your deposit in cash, that can also be arranged.)
